IFFH Performance & Movement

Move Better.
Stay Capable Longer.

Understand what’s limiting your movement, and build a plan to move forward.

Pain, stiffness or limited movement shouldn’t get to decide what you can do with your life. We look beyond the painful area to understand how your body is moving, what may be contributing to the problem, and what needs to change so you can move forward with confidence.

When Your Body Start Limiting Your Life

You shouldn't have to plan your life around what hurts.

Maybe you stopped running. You avoid certain workouts. Getting out of the car feels harder than it should. Your back keeps flaring up. Your shoulder limits what you can do. Or you have simply started accepting stiffness and reduced mobility as part of getting older.

The frustrating part is that treating only where it hurts does not always explain why the problem keeps returning. Your body moves as a system. When one area is weak, restricted or compensating, another area may take on more than it should.

One problem rarely stays in one place

Restricted hip mobility
Lower back compensates

You stop doing what you love
We Hear You

We start by listening to what your body has been telling you.

At IFFH Performance & Movement, we don’t want to rush straight to a treatment table. We want to understand what you are feeling, when it happens, what you have stopped doing because of it, and what you want to get back to.

Then we assess movement and function so your care is built around you—not around a generic protocol.
Get to the root of your movement problem

We don't only focus on the pain, we look at how your body is responding.

Step 01

Movement Assessment

See how you actually move.

We watch how you move, load and compensate, so we can find what the painful spot alone won't tell us.

Step 02

Provider Hands-On Care

A trained set of hands, not a guess.

Your provider examines the joints and soft tissue directly to confirm what is restricted, weak or overworked.

Step 03

Active Rehab & Strength

Rebuild what the assessment revealed.

Targeted movement and strength work that restores control and confidence, so the problem stops coming back.

Where you feel pain matters, but it may not be the whole story. We look at the way you move, areas of restriction, strength, stability, mobility, previous injuries and the demands of your everyday life. That gives us a clearer picture of what may be contributing to the problem and helps us build a more intentional plan.

Your IFFH Movement Guide

If movement is holding you back, this is where to start.

Performance & Movement may be a fit if pain, stiffness, weakness or limited mobility is keeping you from doing what matters to you.

  • Recurring back or neck discomfort
  • Shoulder, hip, knee or other joint concerns
  • Stiffness or reduced mobility
  • Old injuries that still affect how you move
  • Sports or training-related issues
  • Weakness or loss of confidence with movement
  • Difficulty returning to exercise or activity
  • A desire to move and function better as you age

You don’t have to be an athlete to care about performance. Performance is being able to perform your life.

Your First Step

Your first step is to understand how you're moving.

Your Performance & Movement Discovery Day is designed to help us understand what is bothering you, what you want to get back to, and where your movement may be limited. This is not about putting you through random exercises. It is about creating a useful starting point so we can determine the right next step for you.

During Your Visit:

  • Talk through your pain, limitations, history and goals.
  • Assess relevant movement, mobility, stability and function.
  • Identify patterns or limitations that deserve attention.
  • Explain what we are seeing in clear, patient-friendly language.
  • Discuss the right next step and whether this is the right fit.

Live Better, Longer

Longevity isn't only about how long you live. It's about how long you can keep doing what you love.

Being able to get off the floor. Carry groceries. Travel. Train. Play with your kids or grandkids. Walk without fear. Stay strong enough to remain independent. Movement is part of healthspan. That is why Performance & Movement is not simply the place you come when something hurts. It is part of how IFFH helps you protect your ability to live well for years to come.

Move well today. Protect what you want to do tomorrow.

Real People With Real Results

The True Cost Of Waiting

The longer you work around a movement problem, the more your life can start working around it.

It is easy to adjust: stop doing the exercise, avoid the stairs, skip the activity, sit differently, train around it, or tell yourself you’ll deal with it later. But when movement keeps becoming smaller, so can your confidence and your options.

You do not need to wait until you are completely sidelined to find out what is going on.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to be an athlete?

No. Performance is not just sports performance. Our goal is to help you move and function better for the demands of your life—whether that means training, working, traveling, playing with your kids or simply moving with more confidence.

We talk through your concern, history and goals, assess relevant movement and function, explain what we are seeing, and discuss the most appropriate next step.

No. Your plan should be based on your assessment and individual needs. Chiropractic care is one of several tools that may be considered when appropriate.

No. Pain may be what brings someone in, but movement, strength, mobility, function and long-term capability are all part of the conversation.

Yes. Performance & Movement is part of the IFFH ecosystem and can coordinate with other IFFH departments when appropriate to your goals and care.

IFFH is developing a more formal movement assessment concept, but it should not be marketed as Movement Age until the assessment process and provider training are finalized.

Your body should help you live your life, not keep you from it.

If pain, stiffness or limited movement is changing what you do, start by finding out what may be contributing to it. We’ll listen, assess how you’re moving and help you understand the next step.
