Dr. Torres is a proud native of San Antonio, TX. When he was a science teacher at his alma mater Harlandale Independent School District he quickly realized that he wanted to help people reach their maximal health potential and live the life they were destined to live. Not be struggling with health issues forever. At the time he was seeing his family struggle with health issues. He noticed that there was never an explanation for certain health issues and realized even more that there were no solutions or education being given to people that were struggling with health issues.
Seeing his mother struggle with chronic diseases such as diabetes, Granuloma Sarcoidosis and cardiac disease was all it took for Dr. Torres to make up his mind to be a part of this system that is not adequately serving people.

Dr. Torres began his journey in health promotion through fitness, earning a B.S. in Exercise with a focus on Public Health. After gaining experience as a successful personal trainer and being featured in San Antonio editorials, he pursued a Doctorate in Chiropractic from Parker University. His holistic approach to health led him to specialize in Functional Medicine, earning certifications in Functional Blood Chemistry, Autoimmunity, Brain Chemistry, and Neurotransmitters, focusing on root-cause solutions for patients.
While running a clinic in San Antonio, Dr. Torres expanded his knowledge by completing medical school at USAT College of Medicine, training at Mercy Hospital in Iowa in areas from Critical Care to Cardiology. Currently, he’s completing a PhD and is a member of the Institute for Functional Medicine, Functional Medicine University, American College of Lifestyle Medicine, and American College of Physicians.
